This week on instagram I had someone ask me if we sold lavender bundles. Do we sell lavender bundles? We have lavender bundles coming out of our ears! Yes. We sell these beautiful little bundles. Come find us at the Salt Lake Farmers Market, or you can contact us via our website or comment on this blog post. We sell them by the single bundle or even by the box. They are great as dried flowers in vases, used to create beautiful lavender wreaths, you can use them to make flower crown headbands, and we often see them used to decorate weddings. Here are some bundles from our harvest day, all dried and hung and waiting for their next assignment.
Remember that little social media platform called Instagram? Do you follow along with us there yet? If not, you should! Look at all the gorgeous fun your missing out on.
Have a wonderful weekend!
Have a wonderful weekend!
You may have noticed this blog is a little light on our normal recipe posts this month. That's just because when harvest time rolls around we just have so much fun stuff going on that creating new recipes kind of takes a back burner to the main event here, our lavender.

Hope you are enjoying all these behind the scenes looks at our lavender harvest and farm. We hosted our very first lavender days festival this year and hope to continue the tradition next year as well.
Sometimes when I look around the Lavender Apple farm, I see little touches of Europe here or there. The Nelsons lived in Paris for several years and traveled all over Europe during that time. There are antique treasures from that time that all have managed to make their way back to the Lavender Apple Farm. Mike is a wonderful photographer, and while I wasn't there with them to join their explorations of all things European, his photography of their adventures sure is fun to look at.
The best thing all of us have gained out of their time in Paris was Peggy's culinary prowess. She is a culinary wizard in the kitchen thanks to her training in the city of the master chefs. I doubt the Lavender Apple would even exist if it wasn't for the time the Nelsons spent in The City of Lights. Thank you Paris. I owe you.
