Only a few more days left in July. Its almost lavender harvest season! Its such a tough time of year for us with so much work to do. I always hate seeing our lovely lavender flowers getting chopped down, but they sure do look pretty all bundled up. And oh, all the smells during the harvest, they are wonderful. Well here is what we've been up to on instagram this month. Do you follow along?
We are oh so busy I barely have time to get a blog post out this week! We will be at the Salt Lake Farmers Market tomorrow. Only our 2nd week being there all month! So make sure you come to visit us and stock up on all your favorite goodies. And if you are a blog reader, let us know! We love meeting our fans in person.
Well our lavender is in full bloom here on the farm. It is so so beautiful. Its easy to get caught up in the day to day labor and overlook the beauty of your own farm sometimes. But luckily these gorgeous purple plants are an easy reminder! We hope you all have some fun in the sun planned for your weekend. We might head to a lake and soak up some rays. Have a good one! Well hello there. Another week has come and gone. We hope you are enjoying a summer now in full swing! For all of our local readers in Salt Lake, you may have noticed we are not at the market every single Saturday anymore. The next time you will see us at the Farmers Market will be July 25th. This weekend we will be hosting our very first Lavender Days up at the Lavender Apple Farm! We are so excited to see all of our family and friends. We will be hosting visitors on both Friday and Saturday from 10am-5pm.
We will be doing pick your own lavender, cooking demos, crafts, and shopping at the farm store.

Directions to our farm for Lavender Days:
from salt lake Take brigham city exit, continue through the canyon. Once you enter Cache valley, on your left you'll pass the center for the american west on your left. a short distance you'll see a sign that says "Ted's", turn right. Follow rd until you come to a traffic light. Turn left and quickly get to the far right lane, turning right at the maverick. Continue over the bridge, you are now in Millville. Turn right at the first street (100 west). Follow the road, it will curve you now will be heading east. About a mile up the road right before 400 East (only follow the blue rd signs) there is a dirt rd,with a ssmall sign that says Canal rd. turn rught. There are 3 houses on the rd. The farm is located at the top of he rd closest to the mountain.
